Remasteria saa Amazonista ja Playsta alle kympillä ainaski.

Niin, en tiijä onko remasterisa vikaa, vähä toki pelottaa ettei se kuulosta niin kasarilta ku vanha painos ku niisä tuppaa monasti olemaan "täyteläisemmät" ja/tai kompressoidummat soundsit, ja on siinä jotain tyhmiä dance mix -boonuksiakin, liekkö tarpeellisia.

edit: eiku jaa, ne mixaukset on ihan aikalaiskamaa, joten kainne menee.

visagella noi dance mixit yleensä kyllä toimii, ne on alkuperäisiä 12"-miksauksia. night train sydan EDIT: jota ei tosin näy mukana olevan spede

jostain muistan kyllä lukeneeni että tuo remasterointi ei välttämättä ole ihan viimesen päälle, ja osa bonareista kuuluisi kai paremmin ekan levyn cd:lle, mutta ovat mukana "historiallisista syistä" eli olivat jo originaalilla cd-versiolla.

Steve Strange Health Alert
Due to fans contacting August Day Recordings regarding worrying rumours on various forums and online chat rooms as to the legendary 80s musical icon, Steve Strange and his state of health, we feel it is important at this time to make an announcement relating to the matter.
Steve Strange has today been admitted to Prince of Wales Hospital in Bridgend Wales, with a bronchial infection and Intestinal blockage following a long illness that has meant he has been virtually bed ridden for the past few weeks. Steve is undergoing a exploratory operation for further diagnosis. For the past few days he has been trying to conduct a normal life in line with the promotion of his classical Visage album, Orchestral, but although those around him gave strict instructions relating to him doing as little as possible, Steve has been determined to push himself but sadly the exertion has taken its toll and he started to suffer a relapse of his ailments which has meant he has had no choice but to seek urgent medical help. Close friend Amanda Lloyd who is accompanying Steve in the hospital: I was with Steve when he was admitted he was very worried but felt that exploratory operation was the best course of action so we can hopefully get an answer to the series of health issues over the past 6 weeks
At this stage we have no more details other than he is having tests conducted in line with his problems breathing and inability to walk any distance without assistance these tests will be checking for a number of possible reasons as to why these blockages and infections are taking place and as soon as we have any further information we will make sure that his fans, friends and loved ones are made aware.
Harriet Allen from August Day Recordings commented, We wish Steve all the best in his upcoming stay in hospital. We look forward to seeing him back to full health The label and all those working with Steve ask fans to keep him in their thoughts over the next 48 hours during this very concerning time.

Adding to the statement from Visage co-founders Midge Ure and Rusty Egan released today, the current members of Visage would like to express their crushing sense of shock and loss at the death of Steve Strange, the lead singer of Visage
Despite all his trials and tribulations and battles against addiction, underneath Steve was a truly kind hearted soul. I knew Steve since 1982 but perhaps my fondest memory of Steve was our London 2014 gig at The Garage. It was the tail end of a grueling European tour. He was really on his game that night. Visage showed they could perform live, something he always wanted to prove he could do. The audience in the palm in his hand. Steve the showman, that was Steve at his best. He was a pioneer and artistic spirit who ultimately left his mark. I miss him dearly.

Steve was the epitome of here for a good time not for a long time. A lovely person who touched so many lives. I wish he could now see the love everyone has for him. My favourite memory Steve is when I did my first sound check with him in Venice. I had only just learnt my parts and harmonies but when the music started for Night Train. He turned to me and said Lauren, whats the first line?, I dont know, I didnt learn your parts I replied. Well find out he said with a grin. There I was googling the lyrics in front of an arena full of staff, engineers, agents and promoters. Feeding them to him last minute, but him still commanding the spotlight, that says it all for me.

Im saddened and numb but it has been a chance for the band to reflect on so many happy memories in particular I will always remember his cheeky side like when he left Robin and I stranded on stage during an extended costume change at a Tokyo gig. He sent a Japanese fan running on stage to tell us to play another instrumental. I heard him chucking in the wings and never will forget his mischievous grin when his finally came back on.

Visage to Release Fifth and Final Studio Album
The fifth and final studio album from 80s New Romantic pioneers Visage will be released in November 2015. It will be entitled Demons To Diamonds a name chosen by the family of the late Steve Strange. It will feature the studio songs that Steve Strange was working on with Visage prior to his untimely death which shocked the world in Feb 2015.
The album is launched to coincide with the inaugural Steve Strange New Romantic music festival in Porthcawl, Wales.
All Royalties from the album to be donated to the newly formed Steve Strange Statue fund which will establish a permanent and lasting memorial to Steve Strange and his musical, style and fashion legacies.
Steve Strange and Visage began working on their follow up album to 2013 Hearts and Knives album in spring 2014. With over 15 songs written and scheduled the band had recorded just over half when Steve sadly died on Feb 12th 2015. After the shock of losing their leader the band rather than leave the album uncompleted decided to persevere and complete the album. The album features musical contributions by Mick Macneil (Simple Minds) and Didier Space Marouani (Magic Fly). The album also features a cover version of the David Bowie song Loving The Alien.
A limited edition vinyl only single containing a extended remix of the Album 4 track Lost in Static and a brand new track is also available now from Control Room Recordings.
