Täsmälleen samaa mieltä.

Nyt kun The Earth Is Not a Cold Dead Place on avautunut surin piirtein kokonaan, alan taipua yleiseen mielipiteeseen (miten kauheaa!) sen paremmuudesta edeltäjäänsä verrattuna. Sävellykset ovat, kuten sanottua parempia ja toimivat loistavasti ilman nostatuksiakin, vaikka pari sellaistakin levyllä on, tosin hieman kevyempinä kuin Those Who Tell the Truthilla. Eikä tämä onneksi alenna Those Who Tell the Truthin arvoa lainkaan.

Noista levyistä sen verran, että on todellakaan osaa sanoa kumpi on parempi. Those...:n Greet Death, Yasmin the Light ja vaikkapa 12 minuuttinen päätösbiisi With tired eyes, tired minds, tired souls, we slept on kuolemattomia kipaleita, mutta toisaalta Earth...:n kirkkaus, kauneus ja jopa herkkyys, sekä yleinen laatuisuus, ovat seikkoja jotka puoltavat tuon levyn paremmuutta. Debyyttiä (How Strange, Innocence) en ole vieläkään hankkinut (=kuullut), joten jätän tämän tähän tiedän mistä milloin sopii mainita.

Se on se eka levy joo. Potentiaali ja räjähdykset ovat ilmassa, mutta siinä missä ekalla levyllä räjäytellään vasta isoja kiinalaisia, niin Those Who Tell The Truthilla pamahtelevat dynamiittipötköt. Mutta millaisia räjähdyksiä on Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place -levyllä? Paljasta sinä, ex-kolja, sillä minä en osaa kuvailla. Pehmeitä?

Tää on kyllä upea bändi. Olen How Strange, Innocencea nyt kuunnellut kun sen sain (myöhemmät on olleet hallussa pitkään) ja se on hyvä, vaikka ehkä bändin raakilemaisuus kuuluu, tai sitten se on kuulijan korvassa ja päässä muotoutunut näin.

Miltä tuo Temporary Residencen julkaisema EP kuulostaa, onko muilla kuin Laatulla jo kuulohavaintoja? 26 taalaa eBayssä... tiedetään, saa imuttaa.

Uuh. Ekaa levyä en ole kuullut, mutta muuten kyllä sanoisin että hieman alakanttiin arvioitu. Siis kyllähän EITS aina jonkun Mogwain ja Godspeden pätkii...

Oma arvioni levyistä: ensimmäinen levy neljä tähteä, kaksi sen jälkeen ilmestynyttä viisi tähteä kumpainenkin.

Helpoiten varmaan netistä, sillä cd:tä myytiin pelkästään kiertueella. Bändin tyypit muuten sanoivat, että sitä saa levittää vapaasti.

Uusin on selkeästi bändin paras levy. Vanhemmat ovat välillä vähän tylsiä, mutta silti kelpoja levyjä. Tähtiä uusimmalle vahvat 4½ ja molemmille vanhemmille vain 4. Rescue-EP:n voisi joskus kaivaa netistä kuunteluun.
